A short introduction to the campsite

                              The campsite, its rules and what's available…

Check-in and departure: Check-in from 9am to 12pm and from 2pm to 6pm (please provide a form of identification).

All stays must be paid in full the night before departure and during the above opening times.

The washrooms: Open and with hot running water 24 hours a day.Manu would like to put out to children and parents alike that the washrooms are not  aplay area.  Please respect them.

 The shop : open from 9am to 1pm and from 3pm to 7pm.The shop sells ice-creams and cold drinks, local products (honey, meats, wine…) and other everyday items (salt, eggs, biscuits milk etc…).  Bread and croissants can be ordered. (before 6pm) and can be collected from 9am everyday.

 "Lou cabestou": Serving take-away tea, coffee and hot chocolate from 9am every morning.  Feel like a snack??? Chips and quiches are available at lunchtime and in the evenings.

 Fires and barbecues: Campfires and barbecues are permitted within reason!

The beach: A quiet, shady spot alongside the river Loire at the bottom of the campsite where you can keep cool and possibly catch a fish or two!

 Games and activities: Volley ball, table tennis (bats and balls available from Manu), boules and "portique" for the younger ones.

 Visiting the area: There is a tourist office in the village, next to the Post Office, where you can pick up leaflets and information (village fairs, walks and activities…).  For more detailed information, the various walks, horse riding, mountain bike and motor bike trails, ask at reception, Manu has a few suggestions and some advice to give!

The village of the "Lac d'Issarles": Situated a kilometre from the campsite via a little shortcut named "la coste tsaoude", the village offers several shops, restaurants, snack-bars, pizzerias, a traditional butcher's shop ("boucherie Laffont") and a newsagents… At the lakeside : hire pedaloes, bikes, windsurf boards and canoes.
